Mackenzie is a competitor, teacher, leader, and lifelong student of the game of golf—and of people. Her journey is defined by excellence, breaking barriers, and creating pathways for others to thrive both on and off the course.
As a competitor, Mackenzie has played at the highest levels of the game, competing against some of the best golfers in the world. As a junior golfer, she earned a spot on GolfWeek’s list of the Top 100 Junior Golfers in the nation, was a proud member of the Tiger Woods Junior Golf Team for three years, represented the Girls America Cup team for four consecutive years, and twice competed in the prestigious First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.
Her talent earned her a full golf scholarship to Indiana State University (ISU), where she became the first Black woman to compete on the Women’s Golf Team. Mackenzie graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Marketing and minors in Finance and Spanish before completing her MBA at the ISU Scott College of Business the following year. During her time at ISU, she also served as Assistant Coach for the Women’s Golf Team and co-founded Tee it Up, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to golf in underserved communities. Tee it Up secured a grant that brought golf programming to youth in Bitburg, Germany, making a global impact early in her career.
As a student of the game, Mackenzie earned professional status as both an LPGA Teaching Professional and a PGA of America Member. She is also TPI Certified, US Kids Certified, First Tee Certified, and PGA HOPE Certified. Her playing career included competitive status on the Suncoast Ladies and LPGA Symetra Tours.
As a teacher and community builder, Mackenzie has led programs that introduced golf to tens of thousands of young people. She served as Senior Program Director for The First Tee of Tampa Bay, reaching more than 70,000 students each year, and as Associate Executive Director of The First Tee of Tennessee in Memphis, where she oversaw programming that generated over 1,600 junior golf rounds in a single year. She also directed US Kids local tournaments, managing 900+ registrations and guiding 13 students to qualify for the US Kids World Championships.
Her passion for growing people and communities extended into corporate leadership. Mackenzie completed Callaway Golf Company’s Leadership Rotational Program at their global headquarters in Carlsbad, California, where she gained deep experience in business strategy, operations, and leadership development. She was then promoted to Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Engagement, where she has led enterprise-wide strategies to build a more inclusive workplace culture, champion equitable talent practices, and create innovative employee engagement initiatives.
Today, Mackenzie serves as Director of HR & Community Engagement, supporting Global IT and Global Information Security teams. In this role, she combines her people-first philosophy with business strategy, advising senior executives, driving talent development, and ensuring organizational alignment in high-performing, fast-paced technical environments. She also leads community engagement efforts, forging partnerships and creating programs that connect business success with social impact, elevating both employee experience and organizational brand reputation.
Mackenzie’s unique leadership blends sport, business, and community. She has a proven ability to align culture, people, and performance on a global scale while staying true to her mission: to grow the game of golf and create opportunities for everyone to experience the same joy, lessons, and lifelong impact it has given her.
